Mr. Mohummad Shamad AYOOB SAAB holds a Diploma in Public Administration with specialisation in Public Management and a Master in Business Administration.
He joined the Public Service in 1984 and has since then climbed up the ladder to the post of Permanent Secretary. He has served in various ministries and is at present posted to the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development.
Mr. AYOOB SAAB has served several boards namely NPF, NHDC, NPFL, FSC and NCCG. He is presently Director and Chairperson of the Corporate Governance Committee and Risk Management Committee of The State Investment Corporation Ltd and Mauritius Housing Company Ltd, respectively.
Mr. K Naghee REDDY has worked as Principal Accountant at the Ministry of Finance. He has studied law and on completion of his Bar Vocation Course, joined the Attorney General’s office as State Counsel. He is currently Principal State Counsel and in that capacity is advising ministries, conducting litigation before the Courts, handling tax cases before the ARC and the Supreme Court. His formal qualifications include an MBA, LLB and LLM (international tax and insurance law) & FCCA.
Mr. Ishwarlall Bonomaully is Acting Deputy Financial Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development since May 2023. Prior to that, he held various positions at the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development for more than 35 years. He is an FCCA and holds an MSC in Finance from the University of Mauritius. Mr. Bonomaully has wide experience in project appraisal and selection, development of the Public Sector Investment Programme, follow up and monitoring of the implementation of projects, and development of procurement policies, including BOT/PPP projects. He is also experienced in the industrial and SME sector, being closely associated with the operation and management of the National Resilience Fund (NRF) since its creation in 2012 and became its chairman in July 2020. He is also serving as Director on the Boards of the Development Bank of Mauritius Ltd, SICOM Financial Services Ltd, the Industrial Finance Corporation of Mauritius Ltd, the State Trading Corporation, the National Housing Development Co Ltd and the New Social Living Development Ltd.
